Purple Lantern Practice Ltd

A steampunk workshop mid-preparation: chalkboards covered in half-erased diagrams, clockwork models of networks, brass instruments calibrated but not yet in use. A purple lantern casts light across open notebooks and simulation tokens.

One woman, one workstation, seven small websites, and a majority shareholder who keeps the minutes.

Purple Lantern Practice Ltd makes simulations, games, tools, and roleplays for security engineering, and runs seven small websites to hold (research) notes for making those: five documentation sites, a blog and a front door. That is about as much infrastructure as a one-woman company can carry out of a burning building, and in 2026 all of it was carried, one layer at a time, from a US registry, a US forge and a US host to European ones. The scraps of paper from that move were gathered afterwards and promoted to notes on blue.

Purple Lantern does not exist. The games, the tools, the sites, and the providers around them do.

Since 27 November 2025 the majority shareholder and chief theorist has been Ponder Stibbons, appointed in the Oblong Office on several understandings.
